I have traveled to more than 75 major cities in the world studying and researching about veganism, collecting a lot of valuable stories, and I have founded a 100% vegan restaurant and hotel in Barranquilla, Colombia that continues to grow every day and I would love for you to meet.
I am passionate about what I do and share it with you much more.
So I better start at the beginning…
And who would have thought that precisely that day would be a before and after in my life?
It impacted me in such a profound way that I made a decision immediately and began to be a vegan. There was no turning back.
From that moment my energy began to flow in a different way, and my health was improving, to the point that I immediately began to share my experience and everything I had discovered with others, because they could also benefit from it and contribute to a more just world, which is what matters most to me.
I’ll be honest, not everyone wanted to see what I was showing them.
I know it is easier not to… However, my conscience did not allow me to ignore what was happening and continue to share it with others.
For this reason I have distanced myself from many friends and family, and spent a lot of time away from them, including holidays, because it is not tolerable for me.
However, I soon understood that I had to be able to solve it, and I started to develop more empathy in myself.
Now, I let those I visit know about my philosophy of life and if they disagree with it, I visit them at a time or situation that does not involve a plate of food. And also, I invite my loved ones to vegan places or to my own home, offering them a different and appealing dish for them.
At all times I share my philosophy of life, because I feel it is absolutely necessary that more people know how important a change in their lives and in the world could be.
I believe that in order to accompany and help someone in veganism I have to first set the example of everything I preach.
The mother lioness was protecting her cubs and looked at me… I decided to take some pictures of her and leave her territory walking backwards, crestfallen, slowly, and without losing sight of her… as a sign of respect for invading her territory.
