The Vegan House is the first 100% vegan and pet friendly house in the world, with a hostel and restaurant, which also has a bar, jacuzzi, room for cultural events and green areas.
It was inaugurated for the community on February 28, 2018. It is located in the El Prado neighborhood in the city of Barranquilla, Colombia. It was created when its founder Robb R. Robson (a vegan activist, consultant and entrepreneur) saw the opportunity to create a unique and innovative space in the city that responds to a vegan philosophy of life and is committed to social and environmental change in the world, as well as the health of each person.
The doors are open for those who wish to know and experience the benefits of veganism, and for those vegans who want to enjoy the space as if they were at home.
For this, we offer creative dishes prepared consciously, counseling with trained personnel and spaces for cultural events related to veganism and other themes that respect the same values.
Vision
To motivate more people in the world to know, experience and adopt a philosophy of vegan living.
Mission
Create more spaces with the same concept in different countries, where people know and experience the benefits of veganism.
Values
Awareness – about the way we inhabit the world.
Life – of every sentient being.
Commitment – social, environmental and to animals.
Health – for the individual and collective good.
Respect – for animals, the environment and other people.
Love – as a force that empowers what we are, what we do and where we go.
A girl who has been a vegan all her life yesterday told us: “this dish that you brought out today is out of this universe!”.
A girl who has been a vegan all her life yesterday told us: “this dish that you brought out today is out of this universe!”. I believe that the fact that people give us such a compliment has to do with Robb’s exigency and perfectionism, which has always sought to take The Vegan House and veganism to another level. With this restaurant he is turning people every day that he doesn’t even know and may never get to know. That is something I admire very much: his strength to carry out a project and his commitment not to let himself be broken in spirit in the worst difficulty.
